Researcher
Christopher Stolz studied social science and economics with a focus on innovation economics and corporate governance at the Universities of Landau, Freiburg, and São Paulo. In his master thesis he evaluated the research and innovation funding programs of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy with a matching approach. After finishing university, he started working as research associate at the office of the Commission of Experts for Research and Innovation (EFI) in Berlin which provides scientific policy advice to the German Federal Government. As research associate, he supported the Commission of Experts in its scientific work for the EFI Annual Report which is regularly handed over to the German chancellor. Since April 2022 he is employed as a researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI. Since April 2023, he is doing his PhD on academic spin-offs at Technische Universität Berlin.
