Dr. Aaron B. Rosa

Aaron Rosas Arbeitsschwerpunkte konzentrieren sich auf 3 Hauptbereiche der Theorie und Praxis der alternativen Zukunftsforschung und Governance.

Im Mittelpunkt seiner Forschung stehen die Methoden und Prozesse für die partizipative Entwicklung von alternativen Zukunftsbildern – inklusive Experimenten und der Gestaltung von Plattformen, die solche sozialen Governance-Praktiken ermöglichen.

Dies wiederum inspirierte seine Forschung zu Neuen Medien und sozio-technischer Theorie, um die Vorteile und Gefahren der Bereitstellung verschiedener Medien für die alternative Zukunftsforschung besser zu verstehen.

Zudem fokussiert sich durch die Betrachtung von alternativen Zukünften als pluripotente soziale und politische Bereiche der Auseinandersetzung seine eher technische Forschung nun auf die neuen räumlich-zeitlichen Beziehungen, die durch Mixed-Reality-Systeme geschaffen werden, und neue Formen der Interaktion, die genutzt werden können, um weitere Zukunftsbilder und deren Inhalt zu demokratisieren.
