Dr. Liliya Pullmann

Liliya Pullmann (née Netskar), Liliya Pullmann studied German Philology in Lutsk (Ukraine) and completed an interdisciplinary programme at the RWTH Aachen. As part of her doctoral studies in economics at Goethe University Frankfurt, she completed main courses in economics with a focus on growth theories and innovations. In her dissertation, she explored innovation systems and the potential of technology driven economic development in Central and Eastern European countries. Since January 2017, Liliya Pullmann has been a Senior Researcher at Fraunhofer ISI, Competence Centre Emerging Technologies. Her research areas comprise socio-economic assessment of new technologies, econometric and other evidence based analyses, and innovation systems analysis. Further areas of expertise involve innovation management with focus on enhancing the effectiveness of R&D, technology transfer, and research and innovation strategies. In recent years, she has extensively engaged with innovation topics in the fields of microelectronics, bio-based and sustainable technologies and materials, bio-intelligent value creation, computational medicine, and industrial technologies.
