As part of the German-Russian Science Seminar “Environmentally-friendly urban development under the conditions of climate change”, Susanne Bieker (CC Sustainability and Infrastructure Systems) and Markus Fritz (CC Energy Technology and Energy Systems) delivered a report on the ongoing research project 2Innovative use of waste heat using sewers for heat distribution (InnoA2)” on October 28, 2020. The two Competence Centers are conducting this joint research project for the BMWi (German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy) together with the Stadtentwässerungsbetrieben Lünen (SAL) and the University of Kaiserslautern.
The German-Russian Science Seminar focused on engineering research results for climate-friendly urban redevelopment. The event was organized by the German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) in Moscow, the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU), and KNAUF.
