Researcher
Markus Fritz is working as a researcher at the Competence Center Energy Technologies and Energy Systems of the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI since July 2018. Since February 2020 he is co-host of the enPower podcast on the German energy transition.
His research areas include energy efficiency potentials in industry and buildings, in particular the use of waste heat. Further research focuses on efficient heat supply, the water-energy nexus and the analysis of instruments and measures to increase energy efficiency.
He studied environmental engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he graduated in 2018. In 2022, he was awarded a doctorate in engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt.
