Researcher
In September 2020, Linda Widdel joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI where she works as a researcher at the Competence Center Policy and Society. She writes her dissertation on the socio-political dimension of small hydropower at Technische Universität München. Linda Widdel holds a Master's degree in Democracy and Global Transformations from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. In 2017, she spent a semester at the University of California, Berkeley. She wrote her master's thesis on sustainability transitions in the Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zurich.
