Greta Runge is a researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI). Her analytical focus is on interdisciplinary innovation research and the processes of political, economic and organizational influence on the development and diffusion of new technologies in society. She wrote her master thesis (Freie Universität Berlin) on corporate responsibility and technology development with regard to the shape and use of Artificial Intelligence at the Center for Responsible Research and Innovation (CeRRI) of the Fraunhofer IAO. Her work experience includes positions in the corporate strategy of the BMW Group, the parliamentary secretariat of the German Bundestag, the business development/analytics & AI department of Mercedes-Benz Consulting, and scientific consulting on technological sovereignty and industrial value creation at the National Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech).
Greta Runge is a doctoral candidate at the interdisciplinary Human Technology Center (HumTec) of the RWTH Aachen University, focusing on collaborative innovation processes and the design of intersystemic technology governance in the development of socio-technical infrastructures and data spaces.
