Steffen Link studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Emphasis on the automotive industry, vehicle development with specialization in alternative powertrains, general technology management, and production engineering. Master thesis on the simulation of real energy consumption in heavy-duty vehicles for customer-specific application scenarios.

Since August 2020 researcher at the Department of Energy Technology and Energy Systems at Fraunhofer ISI at the Business Unit Energy Economy.
