Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter

Leon Rostek ist seit 2020 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Fraunhofer ISI und im Competence Center „Nachhaltigkeit und Infrastruktursysteme“ angesiedelt. Dort beschäftigt er sich insbesondere mit Rohstoffkreisläufen und deren Quantifizierung mittels dynamischer Materialflussanalyse (MFA). Seine Forschung ist in den Bereichen Circular Economy, Recycling, Ressourceneffizienz sowie Kritikalität und Versorgungssicherheit verortet.

2024 promovierte Leon Rostek mit dem Thema „Modelling the global zinc cycle with dynamic material flow analysis” an der Technischen Universität Clausthal. Seinen Bachelor und Master in Maschinenbau erlangte er am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie.
