Studied economics at the University of Trier. Subsequently, he worked as a strategy and planning officer in the President's Office at Saarland University. In 2009, he moved to ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research. He worked for many years in the fields of accounting, controlling, IT, procurement, human resources, digitalization, facility management and general administration. After working as administrative director at the Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum – Leibniz Research Institute for Archaeology (RGZM), he moved to the Rhineland-Palatinate court of auditors. He was there Head of the department “Finances and corporate investments of the State“.
Joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI as Administrative Director in September 2023.
