David Wurster

David Wurster studied Mechatronics – Project Engineering (B.E.) at the dual University of Applied Sciences Mannheim and then completed a part-time Master’s degree at FOM Stuttgart with a focus on Business Consulting and Digital Management. He wrote his thesis on the topic of “Success factors for scaling business models in urban areas – in line with sustainable urban development” in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO in Stuttgart. From September 2019 to August 2022, he worked as an IT and business consultant at a top-level international consulting firm. As a result, he has extensive expertise in the development and implementation of new software applications.

Between September 2022 and June 2024, David Wurster has been working as a research assistant at the Department of Sociology of Technology and Innovation, Simulation Methods. He was primarily active here in the AI-FORA project.

Since July 2024, David Wurster has been working as a research associate at the Joint Innovation Hub of Fraunhofer ISI.
