Dr. Klaus Angerer studied Cultural Studies and Spanish at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Afterwards, he pursued a doctorate in cultural studies at the HU Berlin, in which he dealt with the interweaving of knowledge production and economic value creation as part of a case study in a company in the natural product chemistry sector. In addition to his doctorate, Klaus Angerer worked as a research assistant at the Institute for the History of Medicine at Justus Liebig University Giessen before moving to the Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Center at the University of Tübingen for a postdoctoral project. He then worked as a scientific project coordinator at the office of the Centre Responsible Digititality (ZEVEDI) based at the Technische Universität Darmstadt.
Since January 2024, Klaus Angerer has been working as a research associate at the Joint Innovation Hub of Fraunhofer ISI. His research interests include science and technology studies, digitality, sustainability and qualitative methods.
