The JIH was represented with two AI demonstrators at the "Colourful Night of Digitalization 2024" in Karlsruhe.

On June 7, the Joint Innovation Hub was present at the city festival "Colourful Night of Digitalization" (Bunte Nacht der Digitalisierung) in Karlsruhe. After a welcome address by Stefan Krebs, the state government's representative for information technology and CIO and CDO of the state of Baden-Württemberg, around 60 partners, including our team, presented the latest in digital technology. The event offered a mix of presentations for experts and interactive workshops for the public, highlighting Karlsruhe's vibrant digital ecosystem.

At our stand, our colleagues Deepak Kumar, Malena Brockschmidt and Valentin Kohler presented two AI demonstrators:

  • AWAIT: This tool uses Generative AI to analyze companies' website content in terms of their positioning in the areas of AI, IoT, cybersecurity, metaverse and quantum computing. Due to its flexible customization options for user-defined parameters and its high scalability, AWAIT has attracted a lot of attention.
  • Technology Acceptance Demonstrator: Using computer vision and AI, this tool measures how participants react to new technologies, providing insights into user acceptance.

We look forward to participating in more events like this and driving innovation in the digital space. A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand and exchanged ideas with us! The Joint Innovation Hub supports its clients from business, politics, administration and civil society in the areas of innovation, digitalization & AI, sustainability and strategic foresight.
