Researcher
Jörg Kosinski has been working as a researcher in the Futures and Innovation Unit since November 2019, initially for the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW in Leipzig. Since January 1, 2025, the unit has been part of Fraunhofer ISI in Leipzig. He is part of the BMBF-funded Value Creation Radar project. Jörg Kosinski studied geography at the University of Leipzig for his bachelor's and master's degrees. From 2014 to 2017, Jörg Kosinski worked at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography as a research assistant in the field of knowledge transfer and new media. He was also employed at Leipzig University and the Institute for Urban Development and Construction in teaching and research on current urban development topics. His current field of activity is in the areas of international cooperation management, knowledge and technology transfer and the development of methods for early trend recognition with AI support.
