Stefanie Ermisch

Researcher

Stefanie Ermisch has been working as a researcher in the Innovation Acceptance Unit since July 2024, initially for the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy. Since January 1, 2025, the unit has been part of Fraunhofer ISI in Leipzig. After completing her training as a registered nurse, Stefanie Ermisch began her studies in sociology at Leipzig University in 2016. During her studies, she continued to work as a nurse as a part-time job and in 2021 she also started as a research assistant in the Innovation Acceptance Unit at Fraunhofer IMW. As part of this work, she was responsible for investigating the quality of access to water supply for private households in the Philippines. This enabled her to contribute to the elaboration of the importance of users' perception and evaluation of living conditions.
