Researcher
Ina Baier has been working as a researcher in the Futures and Innovation Unit since June 2023, initially for the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW in Leipzig. Since January 1, 2025, the unit has been part of Fraunhofer ISI in Leipzig.
She studied linguistics with a focus on German and cognitive linguistics at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Before joining Fraunhofer IMW, she worked in a company designing the linguistic interface between humans and AI.
In addition to her work at Fraunhofer ISI, Ina Baier is studying for a master's degree in futurology. Among other things, she is working on participatory methods and the development and design of visions of the future. She is also researching the linguistic deconstruction of possible futures and the use of generative AI in futures research.
