Chie Endo (Ode) majored coordination chemistry at The University of Tokyo in Japan. She studied the relationship between physical and structural properties of molecular materials and completed her master thesis titled “Development of functional metalladithiolene crystals with novel molecular arrangement constructed by supramolecular sigma-hole interactions“ in 2017.
After receiving a master degree, she started to work for a Japanese national organization, the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and had been involved in managing funding programs in material science, energy science and information & communication technology.
From 2021 to 2023, she was a visiting scientist at Fraunhofer ISI, and since 2024 she has been employed as a research assistant in the Competence Center New Technologies at Fraunhofer ISI.
