Researcher
Jan Greiwe holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences (University of Oldenburg) and a Master's degree in Hydrology (University of Freiburg). He received his PhD from the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Freiburg for his dissertation on pesticide retention in artificial wetlands and nitrate dynamics in surface waters. From 2021 to 2023, he worked at the Environmental Protection Office of the City of Freiburg in the areas of rainwater drainage and urban land use planning. Since 2024, he has been working at Fraunhofer ISI as a research assistant in the "Water Management" business unit, where he focuses on water quality topics.
