Water systems and infrastructures must be adapted to challenges such as new pollutants or demographic and climate change. The Business Unit Water Resources Management analyzes current developments, examines and evaluates the application potentials of technical and organizational innovations, and derives measures to improve sustainability in the water sector.
The current focus of work in the business unit is on micropollutants and integrated, climate-adapted water (infrastructure) systems.
The business unit is headed by Dr. Thomas Hillenbrand.
