Prof. Dr. Liying Yang

Research Fellow

Ms. Liying Yang received her Ph.D. degree (2007) in Management Science from Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Dr. Yang has been working as a lecturer in Shanxi University from 2002-2007, and has been working at the National Science library, CAS since 2007.

Dr. Liying Yang is now professor and Principal Scientist of the National Science library in CAS, Vice-director of the Division for Bibiliometric and Scientometrics, Chinese Association for Science of Science and S&T Policy Research, Executive editor-in-Chief of Science Focus, member of editorial board for SRELS Journal of Information Management (English Journal), Studies in Science of Science (Chinese Journal), Journal of Data and Information Science (English journal).

Dr. Yang published more than 30 papers in international academic journals. She has led more than 20 research projects entrusted or financed by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), National Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Her research interest includes Bibilimetrics indicators, Science and Technology evaluation by quantitative method.
