Martin Kirstgen

Martin J. Kirstgen joined the Competence Center Foresight in May 2023 as a research associate in the Business Unit Foresight for Strategy Development. He studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the University of Cologne. His doctoral thesis dealt with the criminal liability of doctors in the face of new disease patterns and the interaction of medicine, ethics and philosophy in medical criminal law. After his second state law examination, he worked, besides other positions, in legal communication in agencies and designed communication strategies and workshops for large business enterprises and asset managers. His work focuses, amongst other things, on future orientation and change management of organisations, taking into account the change in social values, ethical aspects and legal framework conditions.
