Insights from the CC Foresight at Civil Society Week in Brussels
During the Civil Society Week of the European Economic and Social Committee, representatives of initiatives and organizations discussed the significance of civil society for democracy and transformation in Europe. On March 6th, Max Priebe from the CC Foresight, along with Volonteurope, the European Environmental Bureau, and the European Youth Parliament For Water, deliberated on the proposal of a Blue Deal for Europe. The discussion revolved around the interconnections between climate change, industrial transformation, innovation, and committed youth engagement. Max Priebe emphasized that policymaking can learn from research on future expectations within civil society initiatives, elucidating how social practices can be initiated to implement large missions.
