Fabian Liesenhoff studied Business and Engineering with focus on management of energy and mineral resources at the Leibniz Universität Hannover and the TU Clausthal. In 2021 he wrote his master's thesis at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems on the use of stationary battery storages as part of the transformation of the German energy system. He then worked as a graduate research assistant in the field of energy system modelling until June 2022.
Since September 2022, he has been working as a research associate at the business unit Demand Response and Smart Grids of the Department of Energy Technology and Energy Systems. The focus here is primarily on the market integration of renewable energies and the use of demand side flexibility options.
