Dr. Ines Jaroudi

Senior Researcher

Ines Jaroudi has been a senior researcher at the Department of Energy Technologies and Energy Systems at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI) since December 2022. She specializes in international sustainable energy transitions, renewable energy, built environment decarbonization, and circular economy.

She holds a Ph.D. in industrial engineering with a focus on complex systems and sustainable mobility from Paris Saclay University - École CentraleSupélec. She also has an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree in Sustainable Territorial Development from the University of Padova, KU Leuven, and Sorbonne-Panthéon Paris 1, as well as a civil engineering degree (Diplôme National d’Ingénieur) from the National Engineering School of Tunis.

Before joining Fraunhofer ISI, she worked as a researcher at Hochschule Pforzheim, focusing on sustainable urban mobility and cities. She also gained practical experience as a project coordinator in Tunis and Paris, contributing to her expertise in systems engineering and sustainable development.
