    As part of the MobilKULT project, we are investigating the connections between infrastructures, mobility habits, mobility culture and policy measures. In doing so, we are contributing to a better understanding of the possibilities and limitations of a mobility transition. We collect the data every six months using surveys in the German states of Baden-Württemberg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The second round of the survey has now been completed and the first results are available.

    MobilKULT examines the connections between infrastructures, mobility habits, attitudes toward mobility and selected policy measures. In this way, the study contributes to a better understanding of the possibilities and limitations of a mobility transition. We collect the data every six months using surveys in the German states of Baden-Württemberg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In this blog post, we present the results of the first round of the survey.

  • How much green hydrogen will Europe’s industry need in 2050?

    A new study by Fraunhofer ISI for the EU Commission has examined the impacts of the industry transition on the European energy system in different scenarios. The study shows that Europe’s industry in 2050 will need substantial amounts of green hydrogen and a corresponding transport infrastructure, even with strong electrification of process heat. In the interview, the study’s author, Dr. Tobias Fleiter, explains the results and reveals where the green hydrogen for our industry could come from in the future.
