Jana Thomann studied Mathematics at Technische Universität Ilmenau from 2010 to 2015. From 2016 to 2019 she was a researcher at Technische Universität Ilmenau in the group Mathematical Methods in Operations Research and part of an engineering-oriented research training group. She obtained a PhD in mathematics on the subject of multiobjective optimization in 2019. Subsequently, she was a project leader in the area of operational planning and optimization of decentralized energy production facilities at EnBW in Stuttgart.
Jana Thomann joined Fraunhofer ISI in 2021 as a researcher in the competence center Sustainability and Infrastructures.
