    Letter of application

    In the letter of application you should tell us which position at the Fraunhofer ISI you are applying for (please always state the reference number) and which areas of our work you are particularly interested in. Your letter of application should convince us of your qualifications and motivation that you want to work at our institute. Your letter of application should make a connection between your experience to date and the requirements stated in our job advertisement. If possible, your letter should not be longer than one A4 page.

    Résumé

    Your résumé should be clearly structured and contain information about your person, training, job experience, knowledge and abilities (language and PC skills or other additional qualifications).

    References

    Applicants for an internship, a diploma, bachelor and/or master thesis or a job as a student assistant need to submit school leaving certificates, current overview of grades, pre-graduation certificate, internship certificates and a list of obtained ETCS points. If you are a graduate/young professional or already have job experience please include all your certificates and references.

    Selection process

    When you apply to us we will send you a letter confirming the receipt of your application. Your application will now be processed and sent to the relevant Competence Center. We try to give you feedback on the progress of your application as quickly as possible. Please understand that we only process and send our Competence Centers complete applications. In compliance with our data protection regulations we will store your personal data only internally and treat it as confidential.

  • Are the job advertisements always up to date?

    The job advertisements on our homepage are up to date. If there is currently no job advertisement online that is suitable for you, use our subscription service and you will regularly receive current job advertisements.

    Are there any offers for alumni?

    Former Fraunhofer employees can now register on the new Fraunhofer Alumni Portal. By registering, they become members of Fraunhofer Alumni e. V., which was founded in 2015. The first year of membership is free, then a fee will be charged. More information can be found at the website for alumni.

    What does TVöD mean?

    TVöD is the collective agreement for the public sector. The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft complies with this agreement regarding employment, renumeration and social benefits.
