Studierte Volkswirtschaftslehre mit den Schwerpunkten Statistik, Ökonometrie und dynamische Makroökonomik zwischen Oktober 2000 und Februar 2005 an der Universität Köln. Zwischen Mai 2005 und November 2007 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und seit 2008 Projektleiter am Fraunhofer-Institut für System- und Innovationsforschung ISI sowie Promotion am Lehrstuhl für Volkswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Finanzwissenschaften an der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Abschluss der Promotionsprüfungen im Januar 2008. Seit Juli 2009 auch externer Habilitand am Lehrstuhl für Innovationökonomie an der Technischen Universität Berlin. Seit Juli 2011 Assistenzprofessor am Center for Innovation, Research and Competence in the Learning Economy (CIRCLE) an der Universität Lund, Schweden.

Um SRinference benutzen zu können, muss zunächst die R Hauptkomponente erhältlich unter http://www.r-project.org installiert werden. Sowohl die Nutzung von R als auch SRinference unterliegen der GNU General Public License Version 2. Der Benutzer erkennt an, dass SRinference keine Garantie für Fehlerfreiheit der Routinen enthält.
